Theme: How to create high-quality play spaces with limited land
With only a limited amount of space available at the school site, this proposal shows that it is still possible to create quality play environments in dense, urban areas. By using elements with strong vertical dimensions, and using all available outdoor space (including the building roof) as outdoor learning and play environments, Plug-N-Play’s proposed schoolyard shows ways to create a rich play environment even when space is at a premium.
