Stud Park Playground is an accessible and socially inclusive play space that invites both children and adults to engage with the landscape. Visitors with disabilities can play, supervise their children, and participate in social activities on an equal basis. At this playground, the natural landscape is an important element, and play elements are carefully integrated with topography. The design extends the existing terrain, using it as a linking element that helps to provide wheelchair access to elevated areas. It also creates a framework for the climbing and sliding elements as well as lookouts. These mounds form three-dimensional spaces, helping to define social and interactive play corners, as well as nooks and crannies that children can discover based on their preferences.
