Garden City Play Environment is a flowing space that promotes social interaction and healthy challenges for kids. Organic elements such as cedar logs, seasonally-changing plants, and water channels encourage children to engage with their peers and build connections to the natural world. A variety of structures ensure there are adequate challenges for various age groups. Kinetic elements such as water sluices, troughs, and sand allow children the opportunity to manipulate their surroundings. By providing several smaller play structures rather than one stand-alone element, this example appeals to a wide range of users and needs.
