This playground was designed and built on a tight budget but makes no sacrifices in creativity and fun play elements. All of the wood elements are constructed from reclaimed wood from the old playground. The existing wading pool was revitalized and reintegrated into the new design, and connects to a water channel/sluice that integrates “water to waste” while also serving as an interactive play feature. Decomissioned tractor tires were creatively used throughout the playground, acting as climing features, retaining walls, and even as small sandboxes.
