Originally developed as a park following heavy bombing in World War II, Normand Park was revamped and opened to the public in 2008. It functions as a local landmark park, and the design appeals to users of all ages – whether they are looking to relax or engage in active play.
The park’s design is playful – benches that double as climbing areas, drinking fountains that are also water play elements, wooden decks and grassy mounds that can also be used as playable terrain. The main play area features a BMX area, a ballpark, table tennis, natural play, and climbing walls.
