Mobile Planters

Putting wheels on a planter can make it surprisingly versatile. In a schoolyard with limited space, it means they can be moved out of the way when the space they’re occupying is needed for another activity. For shady schoolyards, planters can be placed in scarce patches of sun as it shifts throughout the day. They can also be easily put into storage for the winter if it’s too cold for anything to grow, brought inside for indoor planting, and kept somewhere safe at night if theft or vandalism is a concern.
