Sand

A classic play element, sand remains a fun addition to any contemporary play environment. It provides a soft walking surface, and an opportunity for children to shape their own environment. Sand can be manipulated into all kinds of creative forms, and allows the play environment to continually take on a new form. Whether it forms a mound, is contained in a sand pit, or is adjacent to a water source, sand never ceases to keep children engaged in play.
