Slides

An important part of any play environment, slides can be used to navigate grade changes by being built into hillsides, or incorporated into play structures. They come in many forms: tube slides, wide slides (which can accommodate multiple people at once), curving slides, and straight slides. It’s important to think about the entry and exit points for slides, and to incorporate soft surfacing at the slide exit for safety. In terms of materials, slides may be constructed from metal or plastic and there are an endless array of colours and finishes that can be applied.
