Walls, Fences, & Thresholds

Walls can serve a variety of purposes on the school ground. They can be freestanding walls that help to divide space, shorter walls that double as benches, or retaining walls that help to hold back a slope. A variety of creative add-ons can allow walls to double as exciting play elements – things like chalk paint and climbing holds. Walls can also be a great opportunity to create a legacy element that can be engraved with the names of donors. Equally important are fences and thresholds/gates that define the entrances to the school grounds, or to different areas.
