Freestanding walls are very versatile elements and can be put just about anywhere. They can be used to separate and define different areas, create barriers, and block views. Tall walls can be used for climbing if they have climbing holds, and short walls (about 18″ or so) are the perfect height for integrated seating. Freestanding walls have the unique quality of not needing to be attached to another structure: they are completely self-supported by being anchored securely in the ground.
